You... You are a Girly Man!

Arnold Schwarzenegger has to be the coolest celebrity in Hollywood, and now ith him being in office in Califnornia as Governor, the coolest politician. Recently, he tipped his hat to fellow Musclemen Hans and Franz and called his opponents, "Girly Men!" which was a popular catchphrase of the SNL characters portrayed by SNL legends, Dana Carvey and Kevin Nealon during the 1980's.

Fans of comics rejoice, AICN, a very popular movie news website has confirmed the rumor about Jack Black signing on for the latest DC Comics movie, the Green Lantern! Now, I'm a bit skeptical as it is apparently going to be a "zany comedy version a la THE MASK", which I only mildly enjoyed because of Carreys over the top performance and thats the way the character was written as anyway. But Green Lantern has mostly been a straight character, who sometimes does use his powerring for some funny moments (mostly from GL Guy Gardner), but I don't really see Black being able to pull it off and please the fans of the comic at the same time. However it turns out, at least they finally tried a Green Lantern movie.

Meanwhile, last Saturday for the first time in about 4 years here, it snowed. I got absolutely shattered, and was up in the main street, sliding around on the icy concrete, not with my feet, but with my chest and now my ribs are killing me and I also fell on my keys and made some red snow. Tried to make a snowman in the middle of the main street, but someone ended up running it down, driving onto the side of the road and smashing him about the place. No matter though, got a lift home after the truly awesome band, Herbal Remedy played a great set at the local Battle of the Bands, and found this guy sitting out the front, made by my brother who was originally trying to make one of those giant Ice Boulder things, as people stared in awe at him pushing it around. He hurt his back and just began making a Snow Rabbit, who goes for the mighty South Sydney Rabbitohs!
